Nightmares Sleeping becomes harder and harder. I miss having her here, sleeping next to me. But it still feels like she's here. All the time. As I lay down, I feel her weight resting at the sheets. I hear her breathing. I feel her presence in the room. But when I turn around…She's still gone. And that fact alone is enough to shake me to the core. I feel scared and alone. I can't sleep, until I push that fact to the back of my mind. I'm waiting for her to wake up still…And, I feel like, I'll be waiting for a long time.
So, until then, I know that I'll just have to play pretend.
Then comes the guilt.
Because, as I sleep, all I see is her, living and

Life threatens existence.
What a funny thought.
It just came into focus a second ago.
Now, what does that mean?
Here's another:
Love is the most selfish creation.
Who's the one that told me:
"Say I love you, you better be ready for pain."
Who said that?
They were wise.
But living, the quest in itself, means pain.
It is love, love-lost, life, death, and the beginning as well as the end.

So, I'm revisiting an old project, and resetting my outlook...Oy, so much work...
So that means that I'm not posting art for awhile...

Now this piece is another old one from my teenage years. I tend to drift into nightmares and cryptic dreams whenever I succumb to my depression. I dunno if my depression brings about my nightmares, or if my sleepless nights make me collapse. Either way, here's this piece, one that I wrote in a dark time.

The numbers in there...I dunno what they are (I've forgotten since then).
Anybody care to try and decipher? @_@

I think there are some ways to arrange words that make it impossible to figure it out, or, that it requires more words than we really have a mind to put to paper. I've found the shorter the poem the longer the description, or even if it's just a few words like: "We live as we die: Alone"
